The Three Major Processes of Customized Color Box Printing

Determine specifications and design: Based on customer needs and product characteristics, determine the size, shape, and material of the color box, and prepare the design documents for the color box. The design document should include details such as the pattern, color, font, and pattern of the color box.

The three main processes for customizing color box printing include the following steps:
Design preparation:
Determine specifications and design: Based on customer needs and product characteristics, determine the size, shape, and material of the color box, and prepare the design documents for the color box. The design document should include details such as the pattern, color, font, and pattern of the color box.
Material selection: Based on the characteristics and requirements of the product, choose suitable packaging box materials, such as white cardboard, silver cardboard, gray board, copperplate paper, corrugated paper, etc.
Pre press processing and plate making:
Pre press processing: Import design files into printing software for typesetting, color adjustment, image processing, and other operations to ensure that the design files meet printing requirements.
Plate making: The process of making a printed document into a printing plate, which typically involves taking photos or electronically scanning the design for color separation, then exposing it in different plate making equipment, developing and developing it, drying it, and post-processing it, ultimately producing a printed plate. The plate making methods include relief plate, gravure plate, flat plate, and screen plate.
Printing and post-processing:
Printing: Use a printing machine to print according to the requirements of the color box design, and different printing methods such as offset printing, gravure printing, and screen printing can be selected. During the printing process, attention should be paid to factors such as ink viscosity and drying speed to ensure printing quality.
Post processing: Necessary post-processing of printed color boxes, such as die-cutting, pasting, and other processes. Die cutting is the process of cutting pressed cardboard into the desired shape, while pasting is the process of bonding various parts of a color box together to form a complete packaging box.
Maintaining close communication with customers is crucial throughout the entire customization process to ensure that their needs are met and products are delivered on time. At the same time, quality control is also an essential link to ensure that the quality of the color box and the printing effect meet customer requirements.
